Professional Writing

I am humbled that my writing has been published in national, regional and local publications. 

Being the daughter of a golf writer and avid golfer, I grew up with a club in one hand and camera in the other. My family owned and published Minnesota Golf Newsmagazine.

I was fortunate to be able to cover and photograph legends such as Patty Berg, Nancy Lopez, Arnold Palmer and Payne Stewart. I have attended many press conferences and conducted interviews with many golf personalities. 

I have written and contributed many articles and feature stories, and assisted in proofreading and editing of the magazine. 

Humor is a great way to catch and retain readers' attention. Recent articles titled, Is Golfing a Crime? and Golf, Is it a Gentlemen's Sport?" have been published in the Prior Lake American, Savage Pacer and Prior Lake Savage Monitor.

I have been hired to write special feature articles such 2016 Rio de Janeiro Golf Olympics and to interview and write about our community leaders.

There are few things that match the civic pride and excitement of community events, and I attempt to do my part to support and promote our community. My photography and stories promoting community theater, charity golf tournaments and special events have been published.
