I have always had a love for art and design. I remember sitting on the couch as a young child with my mother drawing shapes and intertwining lines, filling them with brightly colored crayons. 

I studied and excelled in art at Roosevelt High School and continued to pursue a career in graphic arts at Dakota County Technical College.   

I have supported the arts in the community by being a member of the Burnsville Area Society of the Arts, Lake Alimagnet Center for the Arts and the Prior Lake Community Arts Council.
